This training is for professional development purposes and the certificate received does not replace the MYK authorization certificate required for trainings that mandate a MYK certificate.

1. Introduction to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

  • What is Sustainable Development? This section explains the basic concepts of sustainable development. It focuses on the meaning of economic, environmental, and social sustainability and how they are interconnected.
  • SDGs and Global Goals: The 17 Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations will be introduced in detail, along with their impact on global development.

2. SDGs and the Global Business World

  • Sustainable Development in Business: How businesses can integrate SDGs into their business models, sustainability strategies, and contribute to achieving these goals will be discussed.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and SDGs: How companies’ CSR practices can support sustainable development goals, with examples of successful implementations.

3. Applicability and Measurement of SDGs

  • Methods to Achieve Goals: Participants will be informed about strategies and action plans that can be used to achieve SDGs. The focus will be on how goals can be made practical and monitored.
  • Measuring and Evaluating SDG Performance: Metrics and methods used to assess whether SDGs are successfully implemented will be introduced in this section.

4. Social and Environmental Responsibility in Education

  • Social Responsibility in Education: The potential of sustainable development education to provide societal benefits, and how individuals and institutions should act with sustainability awareness.
  • Environmental Responsibility and SDGs: Information on sustainable solutions for the environment and their alignment with SDGs.

5. Developing SDG-Aligned Strategies

  • Corporate Strategies and SDGs: The process of developing sustainable strategies for companies aligned with SDGs. How to create forward-looking sustainable business models will be discussed.
  • Local and Global Strategies: How SDGs can be applied not only globally but also locally, and the development of strategies for local governments and organizations will be examined.

6. The Future of SDGs and Innovative Solutions

  • Technology and Innovative Solutions: New technologies and innovative solutions for sustainable development, their role in achieving SDGs, and future trends will be discussed.
  • Digital Transformation and SDGs: How digitalization can be aligned with sustainable development goals and how digital solutions can contribute to these goals.

The training is open for institutional cooperation (packages for institutions/companies as legal entities) and individual applications are not accepted. The content can be adjusted according to the profile and needs of corporate participants. After mutual consultations, the scope and method of the training (Face-to-Face or Online) are determined and the related processes are completed. Upon agreement, suitable days and times for your participants and our instructors, as well as the training location, will be arranged.
