Session 1: Citation Analysis and Literature Evaluation with Scite (2 Hours)

Time: 09:00 – 11:00

Content:

• Core features of Scite and its use in academic research.

• Analyzing citation context (supporting, contrasting, mentioning).

• Using Scite for literature review: identifying reliable sources.

• Practice: Participants analyze an article related to their research field using Scite and interpret its citation context.

Session 2: Academic Text Enhancement and Summarization with Quillbot (2 Hours)

Time: 11:15 – 13:15

Content:

• Core features of Quillbot: paraphrasing, language improvement, summarization.

• Techniques for paraphrasing academic texts without loss of meaning.

• Article summarization and extracting key findings.

• Practice: Participants refine and summarize their own articles or sample texts using Quillbot.

Lunch Break (13:15 – 14:00)

Session 3: Article Discovery and Comprehension with Scispace (2 Hours)

Time: 14:00 – 16:00

Content:

• Core features of Scispace: article discovery, summarization, and comprehension.

• Simplifying complex academic texts and identifying key concepts.

• Use of Scispace in interdisciplinary research.

• Practice: Participants scan an article via Scispace, create a summary, and discuss key findings.

Session 4: Evidence-Based Research with Consensus and Elicit (2 Hours)

Time: 16:15 – 18:15

Content:

• Consensus: Finding evidence-based answers to research questions.

• Key features and use cases of Consensus.

• Rapid evidence synthesis in academic studies.

• Elicit: Automating literature reviews and data extraction.

• Core features and scenarios of Elicit.

• Generating automated literature tables and datasets.

• Practice: Participants use Consensus and Elicit to answer a research question and conduct a literature review.

Important Information:

• A certificate will be issued only to participants who attend at least 70% of the total training hours.

• After the training period, certificates will be issued following institutional verification and sent to the registered address via PTT Cargo. Please ensure your address and contact information are up to date.
