Training Method : Face-to-Face

Training Date : To be scheduled once sufficient demand is received.

Training Hours : 17:00 – 23:00

Training Duration : 12 Hours (2 Days × 6 Hours)

Training Venue : Bursa Uludağ University Görükle Campus, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences – Block C

Number of Participants : Minimum 15, maximum 30 participants. (If fewer than 15 participants apply, the fees will be refunded and the training will not be held. For 30 or more participants, new groups will be created based on registration priority. Training venue, schedule, and times will be communicated to participants by our Call Center before the training.)

Training Fee : 6,500 TL (including 10% VAT)

  • Technical personnel who will establish and deliver training on the Lockout Tagout (LOTO) System in their organizations

Training Objective:

  • Learning legislation and standards related to the subject

  • Understanding Lockout Tagout (LOTO) equipment

  • Learning LOTO application steps

  • Sharing practical examples and conducting hands-on exercises


Learning Outcomes:

  • Participants will be able to prepare appropriate and sufficient documentation according to company-specific requirements

  • Participants will be able to prepare training content and deliver training for employees involved in LOTO application steps

  • Participants will gain knowledge of methods to raise awareness among employees during LOTO application stages

  • LOTO practices worldwide

  • What happens if LOTO is not applied?

  • LOTO equipment and usage

  • Types of energy to be controlled with LOTO applications

  • LOTO application steps

  • How should LOTO documentation be prepared?

  • LOTO application during shift changes

  • What if multiple employees need to lockout simultaneously?

  • What if one employee needs to lockout multiple points?

  • What if temporary removal of lockout is required?

  • Preparing Lockout Tagout documentation

Day 2:

  • Lock and tag characteristics

  • Use of Lockout Tagout equipment

  • Safety locks

  • Lockout hasps

  • Valve lockouts

  • Electrical source lockouts

  • Pneumatic lockouts

  • Cable lockouts

  • Lockout stations

  • Tagging and labels


Important Information:

  • A Certificate of Participation will be issued to those with at least 80% attendance. No certificate will be issued for attendance below 79%.

  • After completion of the training and institutional verification, certificates will be sent via PTT Cargo to the address provided during registration. Please ensure your contact details are up to date.
