Training Information

• Training Method: Face-to-Face (In-person)
• Training Dates: Will be scheduled once a sufficient number of applications are received
• Target Audience: Students currently in or who have completed grades 5, 6, 7, and 8
• Training Duration: 24 hours
• Number of Participants: 8-13 (No prior knowledge required; if too many applicants, morning and afternoon groups will be formed)
• Training Venue: Faculty of Education, Block A, Room A127, Robotics and Coding Workshop
• Training Fee: 3,500 TL including 10% VAT

Training Objectives

Participants will learn the basic concepts of robotics and coding, program Arduino robotic kits using Mblock, and create 3D designs using Tinkercad. By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

• Explain the concept of algorithms and create problem-solving algorithms
• Perform block-based coding with Arduino in Tinkercad simulation environment
• Identify components of Arduino kits and explain their functions
• Code and operate Arduino components using MBlock
• Create 3D designs in Tinkercad

Training Content

• What is an Algorithm? Components, functions, and problem-specific algorithm development
• Scratch Block-Based Coding: interface, costumes, arrays, game applications
• Basic Electronics: current, voltage, resistance, power, Ohm's law, AC/DC
• Arduino Overview: board features, precautions when using kits
• Tinkercad with Arduino: simulation environment
• MBlock Robotics and Coding Applications: LEDs, resistors, displays, sensors, motors, buttons, buzzers, LCDs, etc.
• 3D Design with Tinkercad: fundamentals, 3D printers, printing outputs
