Announcement: The “2025 Expert Witness Application Announcement” issued by the General Directorate of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Turkey, has ended as of February 16, 2026.
As part of the preparation process for the new application period, our training programs for the next Expert Witness application announcement and the Consumer Arbitration Boards Expert Witness application announcement are continuing.
Training Information
- Training Method: Face-to-Face (Formal) Training
- Training Duration: 24 Lesson Hours (12 Hours Theoretical, 12 Hours Practical)
- Training Capacity: There are 24 slots available for each group.
- Training Location: İzmir Konak District
- Attendance Requirement: Participation in the basic training is mandatory. The training organization will prepare a schedule showing the attendance status of participants. The absence right for this training is only 1 lesson hour.

Purpose of the Training
The basic training for expert witness activities includes fundamental, theoretical, and practical knowledge, and is taken by individuals who have gained five years of professional experience.
Expert witnesses who have completed the basic training must attend a renewal training, which lasts no less than six hours, within the third year from the date of registration in the registry. Expert witnesses who do not attend the renewal training cannot apply for expert witness work again without taking this training.
In accordance with the article below, after the announcement is published by the Directorate, applications to the registry will only be made online. Physical applications to regional boards will not be accepted.

- (1) The regional board creates or updates the expert witness lists...
- (2) The announcement is published on the websites of the Directorate, regional boards, regional appellate, and administrative courts.
- (3) The announcement includes the application and acceptance conditions, required documents, and the basic and sub expertise areas where applications will be accepted.
Important Information
- After the training is completed, certificates will be issued and sent by PTT Cargo.
- It is the responsibility of the participant to keep their address and contact information up to date.
