Training Details

• Duration: 21 Hours
• Training Method: Face-to-Face and Online (Virtual) Training
• Number of Participants: Each training program is held with a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 30 participants.

Purpose of the Training

The goal of this training is to raise awareness and inform participants about energy-saving practices in shopping malls without compromising the standards and quality of living and working conditions.

Considering the rising energy prices, increasing costs, and the energy dependence of devices, the training aims to promote conscious energy usage, particularly in energy bills—one of the most significant expenses in daily life. It seeks to create awareness about the positive effects of energy management on the useful lifespan of energy-consuming devices.

Who Should Attend?

• This training is not organized within the framework of the Energy Manager Trainings foreseen in the official regulations published by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. The aim is to raise awareness among interested individuals about efficient energy usage and to inform a broad audience.
• The training is open to shopping mall managers, store managers, employees, and anyone who has completed their secondary or higher education.
• At the end of the training, participants who attend 80% or more will receive a Training Completion Certificate from Uludağ University, Bursa Technical University, BTSO-Energy Efficiency Center, and BTSO-Butgem. The certificate does not grant any privileges; it is only a personal development certificate.

Training Process

• The training will be broadcast live online.
• You must have internet access and a suitable internet package to participate.
• A device with camera and microphone capabilities (smartphone, tablet, or preferably a computer) is required to access the training system.
• Participants will log into the system with the instructor during the specified class hours, with their cameras and microphones on.
• Before the training, participants will receive usernames and passwords via email.
• After the training, the system will remain open for 7 additional days. It will be closed at 11:00 PM on the seventh day.
• A WhatsApp group will be created for administrative messages only. Support details will be shared by the administrator. Participants can write any questions or issues to usem@uludag.edu.tr, and emails will be monitored in real-time during the training.

Important Information

• Certificates will be issued for participants who attend 80% or more of the total training duration. No certificate will be issued for those attending less than 79%.
• After the training period, certificates will be issued and sent to the addresses provided during registration via PTT Cargo. Ensure your address and contact information are up to date.
• Participants can send any questions or issues to usem@uludag.edu.tr. Emails will be monitored in real-time during the training.
• Applications and training fee payments are done online. Credit card payments are not available for installment plans.

Note: Participants who have made a final registration and cannot attend the training due to a valid reason or wish to cancel their registration may experience a refund process that takes about one month due to internal correspondence within revolving fund procedures. Please consider this before finalizing your registration.
