TARGET AUDIENCE: Teachers from all branches of pre-school, primary school, secondary school, and high school, as well as teacher candidates, can participate in the training program. This program serves as a guide for those who wish to improve themselves in the field of out-of-school learning environments, particularly those seeking to specialize in these areas.
TRAINING OBJECTIVE: Within the scope of this program, participants will gain the competencies to plan, implement, and evaluate out-of-school learning activities. In addition, they will acquire the ability to integrate out-of-school learning activities into the curriculum. This program will enable participants to plan and implement out-of-school learning activities, carry out the necessary preparations, and measure and evaluate the activities. Furthermore, they will be able to adapt the changes made within the scope of the Maarif Model to their classrooms.
Location of the Training: The theoretical part of the training will be held online in real-time, and the practical part will take place on the campus of Bursa Uludağ University. Participants will be further informed about the location and time of the training. Accommodation and transportation costs will be covered by the participants themselves.
Important Points to Note: It is expected that participants will prepare a 4-week (1 day per week) practice plan and create a portfolio related to it within 1 month after the training. At the end of the training, a Google Drive folder will be created for each participant, and the necessary documents will be uploaded to the Google Drive folder. For the portfolio process, each participant must have a Gmail account. In order to obtain the Out-of-School Learning Environments Trainer certificate, the portfolio process must be completed.

ABOUT THE TRAINING: • The training will be broadcast live online in real-time. • To participate in the training, participants must have internet access and a suitable internet plan in their environment. • To use the training system, participants need a device (smartphone, tablet, and preferably a computer) with a camera and microphone installed, and internet connectivity. • Participants will log into the system with the camera and microphone on at the designated class hours with the instructor. • Participants will receive their usernames and passwords via email before the training starts. • A certificate will be issued to participants who attend 80% or more of the total training duration. No certificate will be issued for attendance below 79%. • After completing the training, participants will have 2 additional days to access the system. The system will be closed by 23:00 on the second day. • After the training and review process, certificates will be issued and sent to participants' addresses via PTT cargo. Address and contact details must be up to date. • Participants can write their questions and issues to usem@uludag.edu.tr. Emails will be monitored in real time during the training.
Participants who cancel their participation for reasons other than illness (health report) will not receive a refund.
