Purpose of the Training

To provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and skills in motorcycle maintenance, repair, and engine technologies, enabling specialization in the sector.

Training Content

  • Introduction to Motorcycle Maintenance & Basics:
  • Structure and working principles of motorcycles
  • Motorcycle types: Road, sport, chopper, cruiser
  • Importance of maintenance and service intervals
  • Basic maintenance tools and equipment
  • Engine Technologies & Working Principles:
  • Internal combustion engines: differences between 4-stroke and 2-stroke
  • Engine components: cylinder, piston, crankshaft, valve system
  • Electrical systems: lighting, battery, starter motor, charging system
  • Fuel system: injector, fuel pump, air filter
  • Cooling & lubrication: coolant, oil filter, oil pump
  • Maintenance & Repair Procedures:
  • Engine oil change and maintenance procedures
  • Tire, brake, and suspension system maintenance
  • Air and fuel filter replacement
  • Battery testing and charging system maintenance
  • Chain, gear, and drive system maintenance
  • Brake system inspection, replacement, and adjustment
  • Electrical Fault Diagnosis & Repair:
  • Inspection of electrical systems: battery, circuits, fuses
  • Repair of lights and indicators
  • Fault detection: multimeter usage and basic tests
  • Repair of electrical connections and wiring
  • Performance Enhancement & Modifications:
  • Engine performance upgrades: exhaust, air filter
  • Suspension improvements
  • Tire selection and compatibility
  • Brake system upgrades
  • Electronic modifications: ECU software updates
  • Occupational Health & Safety:
  • Safety in motorcycle maintenance workshops
  • Use of personal protective equipment: gloves, goggles, helmet, etc.
  • Safe use of machines and tools
  • Safe handling of chemicals (oil, battery acid, etc.)
  • Proper disposal of waste

The training is open to institutional collaborations (package for institution/company legal entities), and individual applications are not accepted. The training content can be reorganized according to your institutional participant profile and needs. As a result of mutual discussions, the scope and method of the training (face-to-face / online) are determined and the relevant processes are completed. In case of mutual agreement, the date, time, and location of the training are planned in line with the availability of your institution’s participants and our instructors.
