This training is aimed at professional development, and the certificate obtained does not replace the MYK certification required for certain training programs.

1. Concept and Importance of Sustainability

What is Sustainability?
The definition of sustainability, its environmental, social, and economic dimensions. The impact of sustainability principles on companies, societies, and individuals.

Sustainability and Global Goals:
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their importance on both global and local levels. Participants will learn ways to support sustainable development.

2. Environmental Sustainability

  • Protection of Natural Resources: Sustainable management of natural resources, optimizing the use of water, energy, and raw materials. Participants will gain knowledge about eco-friendly practices and energy-saving methods.
  • Carbon Footprint and Climate Change: Calculation of carbon footprints, climate change, and greenhouse gas emissions. How to minimize environmental impacts through zero-waste management, recycling, and waste reduction.

3. Social Sustainability

  • Social Justice and Equality: Social sustainability, human rights, equality, and the concept of social justice. Sustainability policies in areas like education, health, labor, and public health.
  • Social Impact and Community: The positive impact that companies and individuals have on communities. The importance of social entrepreneurship, volunteering, and community-based projects.

4. Economic Sustainability

  • Sustainable Economic Models: How financial, production, and trade policies can be shaped for sustainable economic development. Transitioning to a green economy and adopting sustainable business models.
  • Sustainable Business Practices: Integrating sustainability practices into business, sustainable supply chains, and the green workforce.

5. Individual Contribution to Sustainability

  • Individual Sustainability Practices: Participants will learn about simple changes they can make in their daily lives to adopt a sustainable lifestyle. Energy conservation, water management, recycling, and sustainable consumption habits.
  • Role and Responsibilities of Individuals: How each individual can take responsibility for sustainability, raise environmental awareness, and participate in social responsibility projects.

6. Sustainability Strategies and Implementation

  • Development of Sustainability Strategies: Creating and implementing sustainability strategies for companies and organizations. Steps to take in order to achieve sustainability goals.
  • Sustainability Reporting and Auditing: Sustainability reporting, green certifications, and auditing processes. How companies will report and audit their sustainability performance.

The training is open to institutional collaborations (package for institution/company legal entities), and individual applications are not accepted. The training content can be reorganized according to your institutional participant profile and needs. As a result of mutual discussions, the scope and method of the training (face-to-face / online) are determined and the relevant processes are completed. In case of mutual agreement, the date, time, and location of the training are planned in line with the availability of your institution’s participants and our instructors.
