Sustainability Principles and Dimensions:
A comprehensive explanation of environmental (natural resource use, carbon footprint), social (equality, workforce health, community welfare), and economic (stability, growth, productivity) sustainability principles.

2. Developing a Sustainability Strategy

  • Strategic Planning Process: How to develop an effective sustainability strategy, setting goals, managing resources properly, and creating long-term sustainability plans. Also, how to align strategies with organizational culture.
  • SWOT Analysis and PESTEL Analysis: Tools used to analyze the challenges and opportunities organizations may face in achieving sustainability goals. How to apply SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) and PESTEL (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Environmental, Legal) analyses.

3. Setting and Implementing Sustainability Goals

  • Setting SMART Goals: The importance of creating specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely goals for sustainability. How to align these goals with organizational strategies.
  • Implementation Strategies: How to implement the established goals and the necessary steps to successfully execute sustainability projects.

4. Performance Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Monitoring Sustainability Performance: Indicators and metrics used to measure the effectiveness of sustainability strategies. Monitoring environmental performance indicators like carbon footprint, energy efficiency, and waste management.
  • Reporting and Communication: How sustainability performance will be reported to internal and external stakeholders and creating a transparent communication strategy. Information on sustainability reporting and green certifications.

5. Risk Management and Sustainability

  • Sustainability Risks: Risks of sustainability strategy failure and how to manage those risks. How environmental, social, and economic risks are integrated into organizational strategies.
  • Crisis Management: Effective crisis management methods for challenges encountered during the implementation of sustainability strategies.

6. Future Sustainability Trends

  • New Technologies and Innovation: The future of sustainability strategies and the role of new technologies and innovations. The impact of green technologies, circular economy, and digital transformation on sustainability.
  • Global Sustainability Trends: Changes in sustainability practices, policies, and global sustainability trends worldwide.

The training is open to institutional collaborations (package for institution/company legal entities), and individual applications are not accepted. The training content can be reorganized according to your institutional participant profile and needs. As a result of mutual discussions, the scope and method of the training (face-to-face / online) are determined and the relevant processes are completed. In case of mutual agreement, the date, time, and location of the training are planned in line with the availability of your institution’s participants and our instructors.
