The training is intended for professional development purposes, and the certificate obtained does not replace the MYK authorization certificate required for trainings that mandate MYK authorization.

1. Sustainable Development and Corporate Sustainability Concepts

  • What is Sustainable Development? Sustainable development is a development model that aims to meet today’s needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs, by ensuring environmental protection, economic growth, and social equity together.
  • What is Corporate Sustainability? Corporate sustainability is a management approach that aims to make the way an organization conducts business sustainable by considering environmental, social, and economic responsibilities. This includes companies protecting the environment while also fulfilling their social responsibilities.

2. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Corporate Strategies

  • United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): This module introduces the United Nations’ 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and discusses how organizations can contribute to these goals. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) consist of 17 main goals and 169 sub-goals.
  • Integration of Corporate Strategies and SDGs: How corporate strategies can be aligned with the SDGs. How organizations can integrate these goals into their operational processes and how strategic plans can be developed to achieve sustainable development goals.

3. Corporate Sustainability Practices

  • Environmental Sustainability Practices: Information is provided on environmental sustainability practices such as energy efficiency, water management, waste management, and carbon emissions. How these practices can be implemented and how organizations can reduce their environmental impact are detailed.
  • Social Sustainability Practices: Social sustainability practices such as employee health, workforce diversity, equality, social responsibility, and stakeholder engagement are examined. How companies can fulfill their social responsibilities and strengthen their relationships with society is explained.
  • Economic Sustainability Practices: Strategies required for businesses to ensure financial sustainability. It is emphasized that environmental and social factors should also be considered while achieving long-term profitability.

4. Corporate Sustainability Reporting and Communication

  • Sustainability Reporting: Information is provided on how companies can report their environmental, social, and economic performance. The use of international reporting standards such as GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) and SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board) is explained.
  • Communication Strategies: Tips on how sustainability performance can be effectively communicated with internal and external stakeholders. How corporate sustainability strategies can be shared with stakeholders outside the organization is discussed.

5. Sustainability Risk Management and Crisis Management

  • Sustainability Risks: Challenges encountered while achieving sustainable development goals and methods to cope with these challenges. How are risks such as environmental disasters, social conflicts, and economic crises managed?
  • Crisis Management: Information is provided on how effective crisis management can be carried out in cases where sustainability strategies fail. How to intervene quickly and effectively in crises through corporate sustainability strategies is explained.

6. Future Sustainability Trends

  • Green Technologies and Innovation: The role of technological innovations in achieving sustainable development goals. The use of green energy, circular economy, and other sustainable technologies.
  • Global Trends: Increasing global interest in sustainable development, policies, and changing trends in the business world.

The training is open to corporate cooperation (institution/company legal entity packages), and individual applications are not accepted. The training content can be restructured according to the corporate participant profile and your needs. As a result of mutual discussions, the scope and method of the training (Face-to-Face, Online) are determined and the relevant processes are completed. If an agreement is reached, suitable days and times for your institution’s participants and our academic staff, as well as the location of the training, are determined.
