1. Fundamentals of Impact Analysis

  • What is Impact Analysis? Impact analysis is a process used to understand and evaluate the environmental, social, and economic consequences of a project or activity. This module explains the definition, purpose, and applications of impact analysis.
  • Importance of Impact Analysis: The role of impact analysis in sustainable development and business processes. We will examine how companies and projects can achieve environmental and social sustainability goals.

2. Environmental Impact Assessment

  • What is Environmental Impact Assessment? Environmental impact assessment is the process of measuring and evaluating the negative effects of a project on the environment. This module covers the steps, tools, and methods used in environmental impact analysis.
  • Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA): Details on how the EIA process works, which factors should be evaluated, and how the EIA report is prepared. Preparation of environmental management plans and proposed solutions.

3. Social Impact Assessment

  • What is Social Impact Assessment? Social impact assessment is a method used to understand and evaluate the societal, cultural, and economic impacts of a project. This module explains how social impacts are measured, how societal benefits are evaluated, and how stakeholders are analyzed.
  • Key Elements of Social Impact Analysis: Factors to consider in social impact analysis: effects on the quality of life of local communities, cultural changes, employment opportunities, and social inequalities.

4. Environmental and Social Impact Management

  • Impact Management Strategies: Developing strategies to manage environmental and social impacts. This module includes creating impact management plans, reducing risks, and proposing solutions.
  • Crisis Situations and Impact Management: Management strategies for potential crises resulting from impact analyses. Being prepared for environmental or social disasters and developing effective solutions.

5. Impact Analysis and Sustainable Development

  • Achieving Sustainable Development Goals: How impact analyses contribute to sustainable development goals. Tips for designing healthier and more sustainable projects by conducting environmental and social impact analyses.
  • Integration of Impact Analysis in Businesses: How environmental and social impact analyses can be integrated into business strategies. This module explains how businesses can use impact analysis to develop sustainable business strategies.

6. International Regulations and Impact Assessment Standards

  • International Impact Assessment Standards: Global applications of impact analysis and internationally recognized assessment standards (ISO 14001, ISO 26000, etc.). Also covers European Union environmental and social regulations and related impact assessment practices.
  • Impact Reporting and Transparency: Preparation of impact reports, sharing with stakeholders, and ensuring transparency. How impact reporting processes are integrated into sustainability strategies.

The training is open to institutional cooperation (packages for institutions/companies as legal entities) and individual applications are not accepted. The training content can be reorganized according to the profile and needs of corporate participants. After mutual consultations, the scope and method of the training (Face-to-Face, Online) are determined and the related processes are completed. Upon agreement, suitable days and times for participants from your institution and our instructors, as well as the training location, are scheduled.
