Training Method: Online Training

Training Content

Session 1: Citation Analysis and Literature Evaluation with Scite (2 Hours)

  • Basic features of Scite and its use in academic studies.

  • Analyzing the citation context of articles (supporting, contrasting, mentioning).

  • Using Scite in literature reviews: Identifying reliable sources.

  • Practice: Participants analyze an article in their own research field through Scite and interpret the citation context.

Session 2: Academic Text Improvement and Summarization with Quillbot (2 Hours)

  • Basic features of Quillbot: Paraphrasing, language enhancement, and summarization.

  • Techniques for paraphrasing academic texts without losing meaning.

  • Article summarization and extracting key findings.

  • Practice: Participants improve and summarize their own articles or sample texts using Quillbot.

Session 3: Article Discovery and Understanding with Scispace (2 Hours)

  • Basic features of Scispace: Article discovery, summarization, and comprehension.

  • Simplifying complex academic texts and extracting key concepts.

  • Using Scispace in interdisciplinary research.

  • Practice: Participants scan an article through Scispace, extract a summary, and discuss key findings.

Session 4: Evidence-Based Research with Consensus and Elicit (2 Hours)

  • Consensus: Finding evidence-based answers to research questions.

  • Basic features and use cases of Consensus.

  • Quick evidence finding and synthesis in academic studies.

  • Elicit: Automating literature review and data extraction.

  • Basic features and use cases of Elicit.

  • Automated literature review and creating data tables.

  • Practice: Participants find answers to a research question using Consensus and Elicit and conduct a literature review.

The training is open for corporate collaboration (institution/company packages) and individual applications are not accepted. The training content can be replanned according to the profile and needs of corporate participants. The scope and method of the training (Face-to-Face, Online) are determined through mutual discussions and relevant procedures are completed. Upon agreement, the suitable days and times for the participants from your institution and our instructors, as well as the training location, are determined.
