This training is intended for professional development purposes and does not replace the MYK certification for training where the MYK certification is mandatory.

The Plant Geography Training Program teaches the geographic distribution of plants, their relationships with ecosystems, and the effects of environmental factors on plant geography. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge about vegetation.

Introduction to Plant Geography

  • Definition and importance of plant geography

  • Factors affecting the geographic distribution of plants
  • Historical and current plant geography theories

Environmental Factors and Plant Distribution

  • Impact of climate change on vegetation

  • Soil structure, water sources, and plant survival strategies
  • Human impact and changes in plant geography

Ecosystems and Plant Relationships

  • Study of vegetation in different ecosystems (from forests to desert ecosystems)

  • Effects of ecosystems on plant species
  • Symbiotic relationships between plants and animals

Regional Diversity in Plant Geography

  • Regional differences in vegetation and the factors influencing them

  • Important plant geography regions and examples
  • Endemic plants and conservation efforts

The training is open for institutional cooperation (corporate/legal entity packages), and individual applications are not accepted. The training content can be replanned according to the profile and needs of corporate participants. After mutual discussions, the scope and method of the training (Face-to-Face, Online) will be determined, and the relevant processes will be completed. If an agreement is reached, the suitable days and times for your institution’s participants and our instructors, as well as the location of the training, will be decided.
