The Early Childhood Literature and Media Program supports children’s language development and media literacy. It enhances creative thinking and expression through literature and media tools.

 

The training is for professional development purposes and is provided by the Vocational School. The certificate obtained does not replace the MYK authorization certificate in training that requires it.

 

  • Fundamentals of Literature:

    • The role of literature in child development.

    • Developing language skills through stories, fairy tales, and poems.

    • Building reading habits and fostering a love for books.

    • The impact of literature on children's emotional development.

  • Media Literacy:

    • The importance of media literacy and types of media for children.

    • Proper use of television, the internet, and digital tools.

    • Helping children understand and critically analyze media messages.

    • Digital literacy and safe internet use.

  • Creative Thinking through Literature and Media:

    • Storytelling and drama to develop creative thinking.

    • How media content can stimulate children’s imagination.

    • Literature and media-based projects and activities for children.

    • Using literature and media tools to encourage self-expression.

  • Developing Language and Communication Skills:

    • Reinforcing language skills through literature and media.

    • Developing reading, writing, listening, and speaking abilities.

    • Supporting children’s language skills through media tools.

    • Enhancing social communication skills through media interaction.

  • Parental and Educator Involvement:

    • How parents can engage in their children’s literature and media education.

    • Educators' role in guiding media and literature interactions.

    • Suggestions for parents to create literature and media content with children.

 

The training is open to corporate partnerships (institution/company legal entities) and individual applications are not accepted. The training content can be re-planned according to the corporate participant profile and your needs. After mutual discussions, the scope and method of the training (In-person, Online) will be determined, and the relevant processes will be completed. If an agreement is reached, suitable dates and times for your institution’s participants and our instructors will be set, along with the location of the training.
