Training Information

The Mobile Mapping Technologies Training Program teaches high-precision map production and spatial data analysis using land, aerial, and marine-based systems. Participants learn mobile mapping processes hands-on with GNSS, lidar, and imaging technologies.

• Positioning methods such as RTK, PPP, DGPS
• Accuracy enhancement techniques using GNSS

Lidar and Camera Systems

• Operating principles of lidar sensors
• Mobile lidar scanners and their application areas
• 360° cameras and imaging systems

Mobile Platforms

• Vehicle-based, drone-based, and backpack systems
• Equipment installation and data synchronization
• Management of data collection processes

Data Processing and 3D Modeling

• Pre-processing of collected data
• Point cloud processing, filtering, and classification
• Map production and 3D model creation

Practical Project and Reporting

• Project work using real field data
• Evaluation of map quality
• Report preparation and presentation techniques

The training is open for corporate collaboration (institution/company packages) and individual applications are not accepted. The training content can be replanned according to the profile and needs of corporate participants. The scope and method of the training (Face-to-Face, Online) are determined through mutual discussions and relevant procedures are completed. Upon agreement, the suitable days and times for the participants from your institution and our instructors, as well as the training location, are determined.
