Training Method: In-person
Training Date: To be scheduled once a sufficient number of pre-registrations is reached.
Training Hours: To be determined upon reaching the minimum number of participants.
Training Duration: 12 Hours (2 Days)
Training Location: Bursa Uludağ University Görükle Campus, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences – Block C
If the minimum number of participants is reached in other provinces (80 provinces in total), the training will also be organized face-to-face in those locations at a later announced date.

Number of Participants: Minimum 20, maximum 30 participants.
If the number of participants is below 20, the course will not be held and fees will be refunded. If 30 or more apply, new groups will be formed based on registration order. Training schedule and location details will be shared with participants via WhatsApp prior to the course.

Training Fee: 3,250 TL (including VAT)
Certificate: Certificate of Participation (with at least 80% attendance requirement)

Purpose of the Training

The purpose of the Audio and Video Transcription Training is to provide participants with the necessary skills to convert audio and video recordings into written text in compliance with legal and technical standards.

This training also covers the use of Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and video analysis tools, enhancing accuracy and demonstrating practical applications across various professional fields.

Important:

This program is designed to enhance the professional competence and knowledge of those who meet the qualifications announced by the Expert Witness Department under the Ministry of Justice, provided that they have at least 5 years of professional experience in their respective field.

The certificate obtained from this training cannot be used as proof of fulfilling the 5-year professional experience requirement.

Course Outline

Day 1 – Introduction, Legislation & Technical Information

• Legal framework for audio and video recordings

• The role of transcription in expert witness legislation

• Common formats: MP3, MP4, WAV, AVI

• Conversion tools and technical preparation

Day 2 – Application & Reporting

• Enhancing low-quality recordings

• Transcription processes and contextual accuracy

• Expert report writing rules

• UYAP, SEGBİS, and Expert Portal applications

• Mini-report writing and instructor evaluation

Learning Outcomes

Participants completing the program will gain:

• Technical proficiency in audio and video analysis

• Competence in legally compliant transcription

• Practical experience in preparing auditable expert reports

• Familiarity with digital tools used in judicial systems

• A Certificate of Participation will be issued to those attending at least 80% of the training.

• Certificates will be sent via PTT Cargo after course completion.
