Training Method: Online

Training Date: To be scheduled once a sufficient number of pre-registrations are received.

Training Hours: To be determined upon formation of the participant group.

Training Duration: 12 Hours (4 Days)

Number of Participants: The program will open with a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 30 participants. (If the number of participants is below 15, the training will not be held, and the fees will be refunded. For groups exceeding 30, new sessions will be created based on registration order.)

Training Fee: 3,250 TL (Including 10% VAT)

Purpose of the Training

The Organic and Good Agricultural Practices Training aims to teach sustainable agricultural methods that protect the environment, human health, and animal welfare while ensuring high-quality production.
The training encourages farmers to use natural resources efficiently, reduce chemical inputs, and adopt good hygiene and safety practices in agriculture.


Note:

This program is designed to enhance the professional development and knowledge of individuals who meet the qualifications announced by the Expert Witness Department and have at least five years of experience in their field.
The certificate awarded at the end of the training cannot be used as proof of five years of professional experience required for expert witness eligibility.


Learning Outcomes

Participants will:

  • Learn organic farming principles, including natural alternatives to chemical fertilizers and pesticides.

  • Gain knowledge of certification and regulatory frameworks for organic and good agricultural practices.

  • Improve consumer trust by producing safe, high-quality products.

  • Develop environmental awareness through ecosystem-friendly agricultural approaches.

  • Understand traceability and record-keeping for transparency and reliability in agricultural production.


Training Content

1st Day:
Organic and Good Agricultural Practices Concepts

  • Basic definitions, history, similarities and differences

  • FAO and IFOAM standards

Sustainability and Ecosystem Relationship

  • Conservation of natural resources and agroecology

  • Classification of ecosystem services (food, water, air, climate, cultural)

  • The importance of ecosystems for sustainability

  • Impacts on human health and well-being


2nd Day:
Legislation, Certification, and Traceability

  • National and international regulations on organic and good agricultural practices

  • Turkish and EU legislative frameworks

  • Control and audit processes


3rd Day:
Certification Process

  • Application, inspection, and certification steps

  • Record-keeping and product tracking

  • Digital systems, labeling, and traceability tools


4th Day:
Marketing

  • Organic product markets and consumer preferences

  • Target audience, labeling, and sales channels

  • Marketing of organic and good agricultural products

  • Pricing structures and cost management

  • Consumer trust and market trends

  • Participants with 80% or higher attendance will receive a Certificate of Participation.

  • Certificates will be sent via PTT Cargo after institutional verification.
