Web-Based Geographic Information Systems Training Program check out our education.

The Soil Mechanics Training equips participants with the ability to develop safe and cost-effective solutions for infrastructure and superstructure projects. Through comprehensive soil analysis and geotechnical evaluation, participants gain the competence to make critical decisions during project planning and execution. The program also bridges theory and practice by offering field-based applications and real project examples.

This training is designed for professional development purposes, and the certificate obtained does not substitute the MYK qualification certificate in programs where such certification is mandatory.

Introduction to Soil Mechanics and Basic Concepts
Classification of soils, engineering properties, and their role in underground and foundation structures.

Physical and Mechanical Properties of Soils
Determination and calculation of parameters such as water content, specific gravity, void ratio, and unit weight.

Soil Classification Systems
Soil classification based on USCS (Unified Soil Classification System) and ASTM standards.

Water and Its Movement in Soils
Permeability, capillary rise, effects of groundwater, and drainage methods.

Consolidation and Settlement Analysis
Primary and secondary settlement, consolidation testing, and time-dependent deformation calculations.

Shear Strength and Stability
Soil strength parameters, Mohr-Coulomb failure theory, triaxial, and direct shear tests.

Bearing Capacity Analysis
Terzaghi, Meyerhof, and other classical bearing capacity theories; foundation design calculation methods.

Soil Improvement Techniques
Compaction, drainage, geotextile applications, jet grouting, and stone column methods.

Laboratory and Field Tests
Implementation and interpretation of Proctor, CBR, SPT, and CPT tests.

Soil Mechanics Applications and Case Studies
Real project-based analysis, calculation practices, and professional reporting exercises.

The program is offered as a corporate package for institutions and companies, and individual applications are not accepted. The training content can be customized according to the corporate participant profile and organizational needs. Through mutual discussions, the scope and delivery method (Face-to-Face or Online) are determined, and all related processes are completed. Once an agreement is reached, the venue, as well as suitable dates and times for both your institution’s participants and our instructors, are finalized.
