Training Information

This training provides practical and technical knowledge for individuals who want to work in the plastics industry or aim to improve quality in the production process. Participants develop competence in effective use of injection molding machines, increasing production efficiency, and reducing defects.

This training is for professional development purposes. The certificate received does not replace the MYK license required for trainings where an MYK certificate is mandatory.

Training Content

  • Introduction to Plastic Injection Molding: Injection molding method, areas of application, and industrial significance.
  • Structure and Classification of Plastic Materials: Thermoplastics, thermosets, material selection, and process properties.
  • Injection Molding Machines and Working Principles: Machine components, hydraulic and electric systems, control panels.
  • Mold Design and Mold Elements: Mold geometry, runners, ejection systems, cooling channels, and material flow.
  • Machine Settings and Process Parameters: Injection pressure, temperature, clamping force, cycle time, and optimization.
  • Quality Control Techniques in the Production Process: Defective product analysis, mold defects, flash formation, deformation, and solutions.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting Techniques: Machine and mold maintenance routines, common failures, and intervention methods.
  • Energy Efficiency and Production Costs: Process improvement, cost reduction strategies, and eco-friendly production.
  • CAD/CAM Systems and Mold Production: Integration of computer-aided design software into the molding process.
  • Practical Workshops and Simulation Studies: Hands-on production with real injection molding machines, part analysis, and evaluation.

This program is offered exclusively to corporate entities (institutions/companies) and is not open to individual applications. Training content can be redesigned according to the profile and needs of corporate participants. Following mutual discussions, the scope and delivery method (Face-to-Face or Online) of the training will be determined. Upon agreement, the schedule will be arranged based on the availability of your institution’s participants and the university’s instructors.(MY)
