Training Information

• Training Method: Face-to-Face (Formal) Training
• Training Date: Basic Mediator Training; conducted during dates announced by the Ministry of Justice, Department of Alternative Solutions.
• Training Duration: 48 Course Hours (36 Theoretical – 12 Practical)
• Training Location: Bursa Uludağ University Görükle Campus
• Who Can Attend: Law faculty graduates only.
• Training Quota: Each group has a quota of 30 participants.
• Attendance Requirement: 1/12 absenteeism allowance.

Requirements to Register in the Mediator Registry

• Graduation from a law faculty.
• Completion of mediator training and passing the written exam.

Training Content

The training is designed to improve the minimum qualifications, knowledge level, and personal skills required for mediators.

Practical training helps candidates improve their communication and negotiation skills through individual and group exercises.

Persons appointed as mediators must receive training before starting their duties and attend ongoing trainings during their service.

About the Exam

• Those who complete the mediator training must pass the written exam to be registered.
• The location, date, and time of the exam are determined by the Department and announced on the Directorate General's website.
• The exam covers topics provided during the mediator training.
