Announcement of the Mediation Department Dated October 3, 2024
The mediation renewal training is a mandatory training that mediators must take once every three years, consisting of at least eight hours, both theoretical and practical, provided by institutions authorized for mediation training, in accordance with Articles 32(6) and 32(7) of the Mediation in Legal Disputes Regulation; it covers changes in mediation legislation and case law, and aims to improve mediation skills.
The procedures and principles regarding the renewal training have been determined, and in the coming days, the authorized mediation training institutions will provide the said training.
Accordingly;
1-) Mediators who have completed any specialist training (latest specialist training) more than three years ago are required to take the renewal training.
2-) Mediators whose registration date in the mediation registry is more than three years ago and who have not received any renewal or specialist training must take the renewal training.

Important Information
- Attendance is mandatory. Participants exceeding 1/12 absence will be considered absent.
- After completion, certificates will be issued following internal checks and sent via PTT Cargo to the addresses entered during registration. Addresses must be up-to-date.
- Participants may send any questions or issues to usem@uludag.edu.tr. Emails will be monitored in real-time during training.
- Applications and payment for training are made online. Installments are not available for credit card payments.

Note: In case of cancellation due to valid reasons after final registration, refunds may take approximately 1 month due to internal procedures under revolving fund regulations. Please consider this before registering.
