Training Goal

The aim of this training is to improve the procedural/technical and cognitive competencies of general practitioners working in emergency services by using simple and advanced simulators.

The "Simulation-Based Emergency Approach Training for General Practitioners" is organized in collaboration with the Bursa Uludağ University Continuing Education Application and Research Center (ULUSEM) and the Bursa Uludağ University Good Medical Practices and Simulation Center (USİM). The training program aims to enhance the procedural/technical and cognitive competencies of general practitioners working in emergency services by using simple and advanced simulators. The course is one day long and limited to 20 participants. After basic theoretical training, each participant will work with simulators and educational models during sufficient practice time.

Training Program

  • 09:00-09:45: Introduction, Gathering Expectations
  • 10:00-11:00: 1st Simulation Case Resolution (Headache - Approach to Altered Consciousness)
  • 11:00-11:15: Break
  • 11:15-12:15: 2nd Simulation Case Resolution (Approach to Chest Pain)
  • 12:15-13:00: Lunch Break
  • 13:00-14:00: 3rd Simulation Case Resolution (Approach to Abdominal Pain)
  • 14:00-14:30: Receiving Feedback

The training is open to institutional collaborations (package for institution/company legal entities), and individual applications are not accepted. The training content can be reorganized according to your institutional participant profile and needs. As a result of mutual discussions, the scope and method of the training (face-to-face / online) are determined and the relevant processes are completed. In case of mutual agreement, the date, time, and location of the training are planned in line with the availability of your institution’s participants and our instructors.
