Training Objective
This program aims to provide the knowledge and skills required to become a Milking Specialist. It will help participants implement occupational health and safety and environmental protection measures; organize work; prepare the environment and equipment for milking; bring animals to the milking area; evaluate milk suitability; perform hand and/or portable machine milking; and preserve the milk properly.
Target Audience
The program is designed for individuals seeking awareness and skills in pre-, during-, and post-milking applications, for specialized personnel, and for institutions seeking to employ trained staff. It is especially suitable for individuals aiming to work as milking specialists or milking managers on professional dairy farms.
Learning Outcomes
- Knows and applies basic occupational health and safety rules in the milking environment

- Knows safety rules for high-voltage electric vehicles and uses protective equipment
- Understands and applies food hygiene rules in work processes

- Preserves milk after milking and stores it under cooling

Training Process
The course will be delivered via live online streaming. Participants need internet access, a proper internet plan, a device with camera and microphone (phone, tablet, or computer), and must join the system at the scheduled class times with camera and microphone on. Login credentials will be sent before the training. After the training, participants will have access to the system for 7 additional days, ending at 23:00 on the seventh day. A WhatsApp group will be created for announcements and support messages only. Questions can be sent to usem@uludag.edu.tr and will be monitored during training.
Important Notice
Certificates are issued to participants attending 80% or more of the course. Participants with 79% or less attendance will not receive a certificate. Certificates will be sent via PTT Kargo after institutional checks. Addresses must be up-to-date. Payments are made online; installment payments are not available via credit card. For corporate invoices, contact 0850 840 8543. In case of non-attendance for valid reasons, refunds may take about 1 month due to internal administrative procedures. Please take this into consideration before final registration.
