2. What is Integrated Reporting?

  • Definition and Importance of Integrated Reporting:
    Integrated reporting combines financial and non-financial information to explain the process of long-term value creation. This module will provide information about the integrated reporting framework, international reporting standards, and regulations.

  • Integrated Reporting Standards and Guidelines:
    An introduction to international reporting standards such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), and Integrated Reporting Framework (IR). How these standards guide businesses in their reporting process.

3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in Sustainability Reporting

  • KPIs and Targets:
    Key performance indicators (KPIs) used to achieve sustainability goals. Environmental KPIs such as energy consumption, water use, waste management, and carbon footprint, as well as social responsibility and governance-related KPIs.

  • Measuring and Tracking KPIs:
    How to define, measure, and report on KPIs. Choosing the right KPIs and monitoring methods for evaluating sustainability performance.

4. The Integrated Reporting Process

  • Data Collection and Analysis:
    Methods for collecting and analyzing data in the integrated reporting process. Collecting environmental, social, and governance data and analyzing it correctly. Best practices for ensuring data reliability and accuracy.

  • Reporting and Presentation:
    Creating sustainability reports and presenting them in line with the integrated reporting framework. Preparing reports in language appropriate for the target audience, using visual and graphic elements.

5. Integrating Sustainability Strategies into Businesses

  • Strategic Planning and Implementation:
    How businesses can develop sustainability strategies and integrate them into their strategic plans. Incorporating topics like climate change, resource use, and energy efficiency into long-term business strategies.

  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Climate Action:
    Developing corporate social responsibility projects and climate change mitigation strategies. How businesses can implement eco-friendly projects.

6. Challenges and Opportunities in Integrated Reporting

  • Challenges:
    Challenges faced during the integrated reporting process and how to tackle them. Data accuracy, reporting standards, costs, and workforce requirements.

  • Opportunities:
    Opportunities provided by the integrated reporting process. How businesses can become more transparent and build strong relationships with stakeholders. Long-term value creation and business performance contributions.

 

The training is open to corporate collaborations, and individual applications are not accepted. The training content can be re-planned based on the corporate participant profile and your specific needs. Following mutual discussions, the scope and method of the training (In-person, Online) will be determined, and the related processes will be completed. If an agreement is reached, the suitable dates and times for your institution's participants and our instructors, as well as the location of the training, will be determined.
