The Biological Diversity and Conservation Training Program equips participants with expertise in ecosystem conservation, sustainable species diversity management, and habitat restoration. Students gain skills to protect the environment and sustain biodiversity.

 

The training is for professional development purposes and is provided by the Vocational School. The certificate obtained does not replace the MYK authorization certificate in training that requires it.

    • Ecosystem services and the conservation of biodiversity.

    • Global threats to biodiversity and the impact of biodiversity loss.

  • Threats to Biological Diversity:

    • Habitat loss and fragmentation.

    • The impact of climate change on biodiversity.

    • Invasive species and their effect on biodiversity.

    • Overexploitation, pollution, and other human-induced threats.

  • Conservation Strategies and Methods:

    • Protected areas and national parks.

    • Species conservation and habitat restoration.

    • Conserving genetic diversity and conservation biology.

    • Sustainable agriculture and forest management practices.

  • Monitoring and Assessing Biodiversity:

    • Methods for monitoring and assessing biodiversity.

    • Ecosystem health and biodiversity indicators.

    • Habitat restoration and species reintroduction.

    • Evaluation of conservation project success.

  • Environmental Policies and Legal Frameworks:

    • National and international biodiversity conservation policies.

The training is open to corporate partnerships (institution/company legal entities) and individual applications are not accepted. The training content can be re-planned according to the corporate participant profile and your needs. After mutual discussions, the scope and method of the training (In-person, Online) will be determined, and the relevant processes will be completed. If an agreement is reached, suitable dates and times for your institution’s participants and our instructors will be set, along with the location of the training.
