This training is aimed at professional development, and the obtained certificate does not replace the MYK (National Vocational Qualifications) certification in mandatory trainings requiring an MYK certificate.

Biological Diversity and Conservation Training Program provides expertise in ecosystem conservation, sustainable species management, and habitat restoration. Participants will acquire the skills to protect the environment and maintain biological diversity.

Fundamentals of Biological Diversity

  • Definition and importance of biological diversity.

  • Species diversity, genetic diversity, and ecosystem diversity.

  • Ecological services and conservation of biological diversity.

  • Global biodiversity threats and the impacts of loss.

Threats to Biological Diversity

  • Habitat loss and fragmentation.

  • Climate change and its effects on biodiversity.

  • Invasive species and their impact on biodiversity.

  • Overexploitation, pollution, and other human-induced threats.

Conservation Strategies and Methods

  • Protected areas and national parks.

  • Species protection and habitat restoration.

  • Conservation biology and the protection of genetic diversity.

  • Sustainable agriculture and forestry management.

Monitoring and Evaluation of Biological Diversity

  • Methods for monitoring and evaluating biological diversity.

  • Indicators of ecosystem health and biodiversity.

  • Habitat restoration and species reintroduction.

The training is open to institutional cooperation (for corporate/legal entities) and individual applications are not accepted. The training content can be rearranged according to the institutional participant profile and needs. The scope of the training and the method of delivery (In-person, Online) are determined through mutual discussions, and the relevant processes are completed. If an agreement is reached, suitable dates and times for your institution’s participants and our instructors, and the training venue are determined.
