Program Objective

The early childhood period is a critical stage where the foundations of children’s cognitive, emotional, social, and motor skills are established. The Early Childhood Education Alternative Approaches Program aims to introduce alternative educational approaches that go beyond traditional methods to support different developmental areas of children. The program strives to maximize children’s potential through creative, innovative, and student-centered teaching methods.

Program Content

  • Montessori Method: Montessori allows children to explore their own learning process based on freedom of choice and personal responsibility. Activities encourage children’s natural curiosity.
  • Reggio Emilia Approach: An educational approach where children, families, and teachers work collaboratively. Emphasizes children’s natural inclination to learn and the importance of learning through art.
  • Waldorf Education System: Integrates art, music, and drama into learning. Activities are designed to develop children’s imagination and creativity.
  • Pikler Approach: Focuses on developing children’s independence and self-confidence. Children learn through direct interactive activities that support motor skill development.
  • Creative Drama and Play: Uses drama and play techniques to encourage self-expression, collaboration, and problem-solving, supporting emotional and social development.

Teaching Methods

  • Active Learning: Provides experiential learning opportunities that encourage children’s active participation.
  • Interactive Education: Organizes group work and projects that allow children to interact with others.
  • Observation and Feedback: Instructors observe children’s developmental progress and provide personalized feedback to guide the learning process.
  • Family Participation: Involving families in the educational process is critical for supporting children’s development. Families actively participate in their child’s learning.
