Agricultural Biotechnology Training Program check out our education.

The Greenhouse Construction Techniques and Technology Training Program offers comprehensive knowledge on modern techniques and technologies used in greenhouse construction. This program helps participants specialize in greenhouse building, material selection, and technological systems. It is the ideal course for gaining the skills needed for a successful career in the agricultural sector.

The training is for professional development purposes, and the certificate obtained does not replace the MYK authorization certificate in trainings where the MYK authorization certificate is mandatory.

Greenhouse Construction Techniques

  • Design of Different Greenhouse Types: Advantages and applications of plastic, glass, polycarbonate, and ceramic greenhouse types.
  • Materials Used in Greenhouse Construction: Types of materials used, durability, cost analysis, and environmental impact.
  • Construction and Structural Techniques: Basic construction methods, site preparation, framework assembly, and ensuring structural stability.

Greenhouse Technologies

  • Climate Control Systems: Technologies used for controlling temperature, humidity, and light levels inside the greenhouse, including ventilators, heating systems, and air circulation.
  • Irrigation Technologies: Drip irrigation, micro-irrigation, and automated irrigation systems to optimize water usage.
  • Energy Efficiency: Systems that improve energy efficiency within greenhouses, including solar panels and thermal insulation technologies.
  • Automation Systems: Use of automated systems for irrigation, climate control, and harvest scheduling.

Greenhouse Needs Analysis

  • Greenhouse Selection Based on Climate and Soil Conditions: Choosing the appropriate greenhouse type based on different climate and soil conditions.
  • Design Based on Production Goals: Factors to consider in greenhouse design for efficient production, including production capacity and crop types.

The training is open to institutional collaborations (package for institution/company legal entities), and individual applications are not accepted. The training content can be reorganized according to your institutional participant profile and needs. As a result of mutual discussions, the scope and method of the training (face-to-face / online) are determined and the relevant processes are completed. In case of mutual agreement, the date, time, and location of the training are planned in line with the availability of your institution’s participants and our instructors.
