Food storage techniques training teaches scientific methods and practical storage techniques to keep food fresh and healthy. It emphasizes the importance of food safety and hygiene.

The training is for professional development purposes, and the certificate obtained does not replace the MYK authorization certificate in trainings where the MYK authorization certificate is mandatory.

Food Storage Techniques Training – Course Content

  • Basic Principles of Food Storage: Importance of food storage techniques, required environmental conditions for food storage.
  • Storage Methods for Different Food Types: Storage methods for meat and fish products, techniques for storing vegetables and fruits.
  • Food Storage and Shelf Life Extension: Methods to extend the shelf life of food products, freezing and drying techniques.
  • Ensuring Hygiene in Storage Areas: Maintaining hygiene in storage areas, microbiological risks during storage.
  • Food Storage Equipment and Tools: Equipment used for food storage, selecting the right tools and equipment for effective storage.
  • Practical Applications and Hands-On Experience: Hands-on food storage practices in real environments, demonstrating food storage techniques practically.

The training is open to institutional collaborations (package for institution/company legal entities), and individual applications are not accepted. The training content can be reorganized according to your institutional participant profile and needs. As a result of mutual discussions, the scope and method of the training (face-to-face / online) are determined and the relevant processes are completed. In case of mutual agreement, the date, time, and location of the training are planned in line with the availability of your institution’s participants and our instructors.
