Training Information
- Training Method: Online (Virtual) Training
- Training Date: Will be scheduled once sufficient pre-registrations are received.
- Training Duration: 12 hours
- Number of Participants: Minimum 15, maximum 30 participants. If there are fewer than 15 participants, the training will not take place and fees will be refunded. For 30 or more participants, new groups will be formed according to registration priority.
- Certificate of Attendance: Issued for 80% or higher attendance.
Important Information
The training is organized by the Department of Expert Witnesses to promote the professional development of individuals who have at least 5 years of practical experience in their field and meet the qualifications listed in this link.
The certificate obtained during this training cannot be used as proof of the 5-year practical experience requirement.
Purpose of the Training
The purpose of the Organic and Good Agricultural Practices training is to teach methods that support sustainability in agriculture and ensure quality production while protecting the environment, human health, and animal welfare. This training aims to help farmers use natural resources efficiently, reduce chemical input usage, and adopt good hygiene and safety practices in agriculture.

- FAO and IFOAM standards
- Sustainability and ecosystem relationship

- Importance of ecosystems for sustainability

Day 2
- Legislation, Certification, and Traceability
- Regulations on organic farming
- Good Agricultural Practices regulations
- Turkey and EU regulations, control, and inspection procedures
Day 3
- Certification Process
- Application, inspection, and obtaining certificates
- Record keeping and product tracking
- Digital systems, labeling, and traceability
Day 4
- Marketing
- Organic product market and consumer preferences
- Target audience, labeling, sales channels
- Marketing of organic and good agricultural products
- Pricing and cost structure

- Certificates are issued for attendance of 80% or higher. Participants with 79% or lower attendance will not receive a certificate.
- Certificates are sent via PTT courier after training. Participants are responsible for providing up-to-date address and contact information.
