Training Information

  • Training Method: Face-to-Face (Formal) Training
  • Training Date: Will be scheduled once sufficient pre-registration is reached.
  • Training Duration: 24 Hours (4 Days * 6 Hours)
  • Training Location: Bursa Uludağ University Görükle Campus 
  • Training Process: A WhatsApp group will be created close to the training date and all announcements will be shared there.
  • Training Quota: Minimum 20, maximum 30 participants. If sufficient participants are reached in other provinces, on-site training can be organized there. Training will not be held below 20 participants and fees will be refunded. A new group will be formed if applications exceed 30.
  • Participation Certificate: Issued for attendance of 80% or more.

Important Information

This training is organized to support professional development and increase knowledge of individuals who meet the qualifications announced by the Expert Witness Department and who have at least 5 years of professional experience in their field.

The certificate obtained after the training cannot be used as proof of the 5-year professional experience requirement.

The aim of the Equipment and Machinery Valuation Training is to provide the knowledge and skills required to objectively, scientifically, and in accordance with standards determine the economic value of all kinds of machinery, equipment, facilities, and technical systems.

  • What is valuation? Purpose and scope
  • National and international valuation standards (IVS, USPAP, TDUB etc.)
  • Valuation concepts: Market value, insurance value, scrap value, use value, etc.
  • Ethical rules and professional responsibilities
  • Steps of the valuation process
  • Structure and content of valuation reports

2. Technical Analysis of Machinery and Equipment

  • Classification of machinery and equipment
  • Machine identification and technical specification analysis
  • Methods for determining useful life
  • Maintenance history and condition assessment
  • Impact of automation and digitalization
  • Second-hand machinery market and sectoral evaluations
  • Factors affecting economic life of machinery

3. Valuation Methods and Applications

  • Cost approach (replacement/reproduction cost)
  • Market approach (comparable asset analysis)
  • Income approach (for income-generating machinery)
  • Depreciation types: Physical, functional, economic
  • Scrap value and residual value analysis
  • Technical comparison and scoring methods
  • Sample calculations and case studies

4. Reporting, Legal and Financial Aspects

  • Valuation report preparation techniques
  • Machinery valuation in tax legislation
