  • Location: Bursa Uludağ University, Görükle Campus, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences – C Block

Purpose of the Training

This program aims to equip participants with the ability to evaluate machinery and equipment objectively using recognized national and international valuation standards (IVS, USPAP, TDUB). It develops expertise in economic life analysis, cost and income-based valuation approaches, and professional report preparation, ensuring participants can produce accurate, ethical, and reliable value assessments for industrial and legal purposes.

  • Valuation process and reporting structure

2. Technical Analysis of Machinery and Equipment (Day 2)

  • Classification and identification of machinery

  • Determining service life and condition assessment

  • Effects of automation and digitalization

  • Sector-based valuation considerations and second-hand market review

  • Factors influencing the economic life of machinery

3. Valuation Methods and Applications (Day 3)

  • Cost Approach: reproduction and replacement cost methods

  • Market Approach: comparable asset analysis

  • Income Approach: for revenue-generating machinery

  • Types of depreciation: physical, functional, and economic

  • Scrap value, residual value, and case-based calculations

4. Reporting, Legal, and Financial Aspects (Day 4)

  • Valuation report writing techniques and formatting

  • Machinery valuation for taxation, insurance, and leasing purposes

  • Risk and compliance analysis

  • Valuation in bankruptcy, liquidation, and expert witness processes

  • Practical report samples and applied case studies

 Certification and Administrative Information

  • Certificates will be issued for ≥80% attendance.

  • Certificates will be sent via PTT Cargo after completion.

  • Registration and payment are done online only (no installments).

  • Refunds for cancellations may take up to 1 month due to administrative processes.
