Printing applications on paper will be conducted using organic materials, everyday materials, and waste materials.
- Printmaking is an artistic production process based on transferring images onto paper or other surfaces using a matrix.
- The matrix used in printmaking can consist of materials such as wood, metal, stone, fabric, or plastic. The image designed by the artist is created on the matrix using various tools or chemical materials. To make the image visible, the matrix is first inked, and then the image is transferred to the desired surface using a suitable method. The transferred image appears as a mirror reflection of the image on the matrix. By its nature, printmaking allows the same image to be reproduced from a matrix, enabling artworks to exist simultaneously in different locations.
