Introduction to glass decoration: History of glass decorative art, areas of use, and basic concepts
Glass surface preparation: Cleaning, sanding, and preparing surfaces for decorative application
Painting techniques: Creating patterns with glass paints, brush and pad techniques, color transitions in glass painting
Engraving and carving applications: Creating patterns on glass surfaces with hand tools, adding depth and texture effects
Sandblasting (matting) method: Creating patterns with stencils, surface roughening, and decorative sandblasting techniques
Stained glass and glass mosaic work: Cutting colored glass, leading, and adhesive techniques for decorative designs
Gilding and foil applications: Decorating glass with gold, silver, or colored leaf
Glass transfer printing: Transferring decorative images onto glass surfaces and fixing methods
Safety and material knowledge: Materials, tools, and safety precautions used in glass decoration
Hands-on workshop activities: Participants design and produce their own original glass decorative products
The training is open to institutional collaborations (package for institution/company legal entities), and individual applications are not accepted. The training content can be reorganized according to your institutional participant profile and needs. As a result of mutual discussions, the scope and method of the training (face-to-face / online) are determined and the relevant processes are completed. In case of mutual agreement, the date, time, and location of the training are planned in line with the availability of your institution’s participants and our instructors.
