Training Overview

This training provides individuals who wish to work in the manufacturing sector with a solid technical foundation and the ability to understand production processes with a holistic approach. At the same time, it enhances professional competence through workshop practices, thereby expanding employment opportunities.

This training is intended for professional development purposes. The certificate received does not replace the MYK license required for trainings where an MYK certificate is mandatory.

Training Content

  • Introduction to Manufacturing Processes: Definition of production, types of industries, and basic production principles.
  • Machining Techniques: Basic principles of turning, milling, drilling, and grinding.
  • Non-Chip Forming Methods: Material forming processes such as forging, rolling, extrusion, and deep drawing.
  • Welding Technologies: Applications of arc welding, MIG/MAG welding, spot welding, and TIG welding.
  • Casting Processes: Fundamentals of molding, liquid metal casting, and cooling stages.
  • Assembly and Joining Techniques: Assembly methods with bolts, rivets, welding, and adhesives.
  • Technical Drawing Reading and Measuring Tools: Technical drawing standards, tolerances, and the use of calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
  • Occupational Safety and Environmental Protection: Safety rules, workplace health, and environmental awareness during workshop practices.
  • Material Knowledge and Proper Material Selection: Behavior and applications of metals and plastics in production processes.
  • Practical Workshop Studies: Hands-on practice of basic operations in a real production environment, part production, and evaluation.

This program is offered exclusively to corporate entities (institutions/companies) and is not open to individual applications. Training content can be redesigned according to the profile and needs of corporate participants. Following mutual discussions, the scope and delivery method (Face-to-Face or Online) of the training will be determined. Upon agreement, the schedule will be arranged based on the availability of your institution’s participants and the university’s instructors.(MY)
