Training Information

  • Training Method: Face-to-Face (In-Person) Training
  • Training Date: Will be scheduled once sufficient pre-registrations are received.
  • Training Duration: 24 Hours (4 Days * 6 Hours)
  • Training Location: Bursa Uludağ University Görükle Campus
  • Training Process: A WhatsApp group will be created close to the training date, and all announcements will be shared there.
  • Training Quota: Opens with a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 30 participants. If minimum participants are reached in other provinces outside Bursa, in-person training will be planned in your province. Training will not be planned for less than 20 participants, and fees will be refunded. For applications over 30, a new group will be formed.
  • Participation Certificate: Issued to those with 80% or higher attendance.

Important Information

The training is organized by the Directorate of Expertise in the Basic Expertise Department to support the professional development and knowledge of individuals who meet the qualifications listed in the link below, provided they have at least 5 years of practical experience in their field.

The certificate obtained from the training does not serve as proof of the 5-year practical work requirement in this field.

Training Objective

The purpose of the training is to ensure that experts can accurately and legally calculate damages, compensation, interest, and contract termination in legal disputes arising under the Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098. During the training, practical calculation and reporting exercises will be conducted using real case files alongside theoretical knowledge.

  • Introduction to the Law of Obligations
  • Structure and basic concepts of the Turkish Code of Obligations
  • Types of contracts and performance obligations
  • Types of liability: fault, force majeure, unjust enrichment
  • Compensation and Damage Concepts
  • Material & moral damage distinction
  • Compensation calculation criteria
  • Damage in case of impossibility of performance and termination of obligation
Day 2
  • Contract Breach and Termination
  • Disputes in sales, lease, service, and agency contracts
  • Early termination, penalty clauses, and default provisions
  • Practical termination calculations
  • Interest Calculations
  • Default interest and legal interest
  • Interest applications in commercial transactions
  • Determining interest start date and rate
Day 3
  • Torts and Compensation
  • Definition of tort and liability conditions
  • The expert's role in damage calculations
  • Compensation elements: medical expenses, loss of earnings, moral damages
  • Loss of Support – Physical Damage Calculations
  • Insurance compensation – difference compensation distinction
  • Income loss and incapacity calculations under the Law of Obligations
Day 4
  • Practical Calculation and Report Writing
  • Calculations using real case files
  • Examples of compensation, interest, and penalty calculations
  • Writing formulas, explanations, and legal basis in expert reports
