Basic Network and Operating Systems Training

Training Duration: 5 Days (09:00–12:00 Theory, 13:00–16:00 Practice)
Participant Profile: Participants lacking network and operating system knowledge

Prerequisites

  • Basic computer usage
  • General knowledge of the internet (browser, file download, etc.)

Curriculum Topics

  • Day 1: Network fundamentals, signals, network topologies (LAN, WAN, IP addressing, routing logic)
  • Day 2: Basic network devices (switch, router, modem …) and their functions
  • Day 3: Introduction to operating systems: basic Windows and Linux administration commands
  • Day 4: User and access management, file permissions, security updates
  • Day 5: Network security awareness, simple network scenarios and practical examples

  • Gain fundamental operating system management skills.
