Training Information

• Training Method: Online (Live Virtual Training)
• Training Duration: 42 Hours
• Training Fee: 10,000 TL
• Training Date: It will be scheduled when a sufficient number of pre-applications is reached.
• Training Quota: A group is formed with a maximum of 30 participants.
• Who Can Participate? Associate/Bachelor’s degree graduates who work with individuals with special needs or have the potential to work in this field.

Purpose of the Training

The aim of this program is to train specialists who can manage the employment processes of individuals with special needs in a scientific, ethical, and systematic manner.

At the end of the program, participants will be able to:

• Recognize individuals with special needs,
• Conduct job and individual analyses,
• Create adaptation and support plans,
• Communicate effectively with employers,
• Manage performance and monitoring processes.

Target Audience

In recent years, the employment of individuals with special needs has increased in Türkiye. There is a need for qualified human resources to ensure workplace adaptation, establish healthy communication between employers and employees, and achieve sustainable employment. However, many professionals currently working in this field (HR specialists, job and career counselors, guidance teachers, psychologists, social workers, etc.) perform their duties in the field without having completed a standardized, systematic, and scientific training program on supported employment.

There is no systematic training program in our country that directly focuses on this subject. This situation may lead to:

• Workplace mismatches,
• Employee turnover,
• Employer dissatisfaction,
• Psychosocial harm to individuals with special needs.

Therefore, there is a need to train Supported Employment Specialists who can professionally manage supported employment processes in Türkiye. This program can be attended by associate/bachelor’s degree graduates who work with individuals with special needs or have the potential to work in this field.

Training Process

• The training will be delivered live online in real time.
• To attend the training, you must have internet access and a suitable internet package in your environment.

• The training will be held on weekday evenings and weekends.
• Participants will log into the system during class hours together with the instructor, with their cameras and microphones turned on.
• To support you throughout the training period, a WhatsApp group will be created where only administrators can send messages, and all support information will be shared by the administrator during the course. Participants can send any questions or issues to usem@uludag.edu.tr. Emails will be monitored instantly throughout the training period.

Important Information

• Certificates will be issued to participants who attend 80% or more of the total training duration.
• An exam will be held at the end of the training, and the certificates of successful participants will be uploaded to the system.
