Training Information

  • Training Method: Online (Virtual) Training
  • Training Duration: 42 Hours
  • Training Fee: 7.500 TL
  • Training Date: It will be scheduled when sufficient pre-application numbers are reached.
  • Quota: Maximum group of 30 participants.
  • Who Can Attend? University/college graduates who work or have the potential to work with individuals with special needs.

Purpose of the Training

The aim of this program is to train professionals who can carry out the employment processes of individuals with special needs in a scientific, ethical, and systematic way.

At the end of the program, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize individuals with special needs,
  • Conduct job and individual analysis,
  • Develop adaptation and support plans,
  • Communicate effectively with employers,
  • Manage performance and monitoring processes.

Target Audience

In Türkiye, the employment of individuals with special needs has increased in recent years. There is a need for qualified human resources to ensure the adaptation of employees to working life, establish healthy communication between employers and individuals, and ensure sustainable employment. However, many professionals working in this field (HR specialists, career consultants, guidance counselors, psychologists, social workers, etc.) currently perform their duties without standardized, systematic, and scientific training in supported employment.

Currently, there is no systematic training program directly related to this field in our country. This situation may lead to:

  • Job mismatches,
  • Job turnover,
  • Employer dissatisfaction,
  • Psychosocial harm to individuals with special needs.

Therefore, there is a need to train Supported Employment Specialists who can professionally manage these processes in Türkiye. This program is available to university/college graduates who work or have the potential to work with individuals with special needs.

Training Process

  • The training will be broadcast live via the internet simultaneously.
  • To participate, you must have internet access and a suitable internet package in your location.

  • The training will take place on weekday evenings and weekends.
  • Participants will log into the system during class hours with their camera and microphone turned on alongside the instructor.
  • A WhatsApp group will be created only for administrator messages to provide support throughout the course. All support information will be shared by the administrator. Participants may send any questions or issues to usem@uludag.edu.tr. The email will be actively monitored throughout the training.

Important Information

  • A participation certificate will be issued to those with 80% or higher attendance.
  • Certificates will be sent via PTT Cargo after the training. Participants are responsible for keeping their address and contact information up to date.
