The Child Mental Health Education Program is designed to strengthen children's mental and emotional well-being. It provides parents, teachers, and health professionals with the knowledge and skills to support children's psychological development.

 

The training is for professional development purposes and is provided by the Vocational School. The certificate obtained does not replace the MYK authorization certificate in training that requires it.

 

1. Program Objective:
The Child Mental Health Education Program aims to protect and support children’s mental and emotional health in a healthy developmental process. Designed for parents, teachers, and health professionals, this program provides skills in identifying and intervening early with psychological issues in children.

2. Educational Content:

  • Basics of Child Psychology: Information on emotional, mental, and social development stages of children.

  • Psychological Health and Development: Changes in psychological development in children, the concept of mental health, and how to support these processes healthily.

  • Early Diagnosis and Intervention: How to identify psychological issues in children at an early stage and intervene appropriately.

  • Parental and Educational Psychological Support: Methods parents can use to support their children’s psychological health. How teachers can enhance children’s mental well-being in the classroom.

  • Common Child Mental Health Issues: Symptoms and treatment methods for common mental health problems in children such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD.

  • Psycho-education and Counseling: Psycho-educational methods, therapeutic approaches, and counseling techniques for children.

3. Training Methods:

  • Theoretical Training: Detailed information about psychological theories, developmental stages, and mental health concepts.

  • Case Studies: Analysis of common cases encountered in child psychology and proposed solutions.

  • Practical Sessions: Practical exercises for working with children, therapy methods, and communication skills.

  • Parental and Teacher Education: Guidance on how parents and teachers can effectively influence children's psychological development.

 

The training is open to corporate partnerships (institution/company legal entities) and individual applications are not accepted. The training content can be re-planned according to the corporate participant profile and your needs. After mutual discussions, the scope and method of the training (In-person, Online) will be determined, and the relevant processes will be completed. If an agreement is reached, suitable dates and times for your institution’s participants and our instructors will be set, along with the location of the training.
